Buitenplaats Beeckesteijn is a large country estate dating from 1717. Each room has its own character and therefore an interesting space for exhibitions. Curator Bianca Vooges gave five artists a room to themselves. I got the ‘fan’ room and showed a selection of works to create an atmosphere of rest and seclusion.
Books, a glass of water, letters and a half opened fan, all in white alabaster together with a life size image of a woman fastening her necklace.
