The Conservatory, residential and nursing home Torendael, Amsterdam The artwork had to comply with two conditions
concerning the acoustics. In the closed version, the wall is covered with a curtain on which a photo portrays a grid
behind which foliage is visible. In the open version an illusion of a extra window is created.
Commissioned by Amsterdam Fonds voor de Kunst / Stichting Ouderenzorg Rivierenbuurt.
